Dell has officially launched the Latitude XT2 Tablet PC laptop, which has multi-touch support. This multi-touch XT2 is a convertible laptop with a capacitive touchscreen that supports multi-touch gestures like pinching, zooming, panning, etc.. Latitude XT2 Tablet PC is powered by a 6-cell battery; Dell boasts that it has 11 hours of battery life. No information on price and availability as yet.
Dell’s Latitude XT2 has a 12.1-inch multi-touch screen offering 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It also has a 2.5 cm thick chassis and runs on Windows Vista Ultimate. The XT2 is equipped with a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU9300 processor upgradeable with a 1.4GHz SU9400 processor. The processor is paired with Intel’s Montevina chipset featuring Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics.
